One of our favorite Pubs out of town, was
Fred Vernons Crown Inn at Catcott.
We used to pop out for a pint or two then head back to town for the remainder of the night.
Mind on occassion we would stay all night especially when he had a disco on in the back hall

the inside of the back hall never looked like this in the 60/70,s.


First time I had ever seen the pub in daylight
